Probably everyone has seen rain droplets falling on the surface of a puddle and appreciated that . However, how many of us could see the droplet shape change in details? The high speed photography open a new world for us, because allow us to appreciate these events, where the time is measured in milliseconds or less.
Setup: a couple of Sb-800 in 1/32 power and some bouncers.

Rodrigo’s girlfriend, Alexandra Pacher, was our model. We went to an old train station and could take some interesting shots. A lot of photographers from Rio do Sul and region use to take shots in that station. Therefore, we had the obligation of to take some unconventional photos. And we got it, I guess.
What about D700? It’s a amazing camera. Just one (or two) thing I disliked: the AF points are concentrated in the center of view, as ever all FF DSLR, and there aren’t cross points in the frame’s borders, like 1Ds Mk III.
Today was a boring like day. Every sunday is a boring day for me.
And today, as ever, I didn’t do anything interesting and the day was finishing in a couple of hours. At 8 pm, I thought: “Why not now”. And I finally decided to make a self-portrait. Yes, that’s me.
Setup: SB-800 inside 40×60 softbox (f/8) at left of camera and SB-800 with semi-collapsed silver umbrella at right of camera and a little bit behind me (f/8).
Camera info: Nikon D300 | 17-55 (ƒ/2.8D) | ƒ/13.0 | ISO 200 | 1/250s — Tripoded
